Snow day and sledding
Snow! One of our rare Seattle snow storms left us with a few good inches to play in the next morning. Matt was off to work :(, but Ella & I got to do some sledding.[may '08]

Winter 2008
Ella and her cousins, Holly & Wyatt, enjoyed their first (of many, we hope) cousins' sleepover and Grandma & Grandpa Gowdy's. We also got lucky with a cool but beautifully sunny day at Fort Casey.[may '08]

Christmas 2007
The holiday was so much fun with Ella this year - how great to see the wonder and excitement we had in our own childhoods. She loved the tree, the traditions, and the gifts![feb. '08]

Snowy getaway
We joined a group of friends and their families for a great weekend at a cabin in the Cascades. There was lots of snow, and the tree lighting in Leavenworth was beautiful![dec. '07]

Trip to Portland, 2007
We headed to Portland for a visit with Ella's cousin Sydney, and for Carlin's Uncle's 65th birthday party. There were street cars, trams, and a trip to the zoo, too![dec. '07]
