Northwest and Mount Baker Orchid Societies' Show
The exotic beauty of orchids has fascinated gardeners for more than two centuries. And, every year, here at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show, thousands come to admire and buy some of the showiest flowers on earth. Last year, 10,000 orchids were sold at this show-within-a-show! Come up to the sixth floor, talk to orchid experts from the Northwest Orchid Society and the Mount Baker Orchid Society, and marvel at the exquisite elegance of Cymbidium, Dendrobium and Phalaenopsis.

All the World's a Sage; A Botanical Theatrical in One Act
Be inspired by gardening, and literature! Enjoy any of 8 staged readings, of prose, poetry and fiction, all about gardens and horticulture. Performances will be held at the Dorothy Bullitt Cabaret stage inside A Contemporary Theater. Price is $10 per performance. For more information about the performances and how to get tickets, go to the performance schedule.

    DesignHome by Seattle Design Center
Relax and enjoy the view. These delightful interior rooms are designed and created by the Seattle Design Center, and will overlook the display garden created by the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.

Pacific Science Center's Children's Gardening Area; A Bug's Eye View
Observe the garden in crawly, wiggly, flying fashion at this incredible display. Get a hands-on (and knees-on) perspective of a bug's world with our crawl and walk through environment. See the world from a butterfly's view - looking down, and an ant's view - looking up. Get up-close and personal with insects from the Pacific Science Center Insect Zoo, plus much more!

    Vignettes
Vignettes-small and intimate-show brief glimpses of a garden, a windowbox, or a view of the garden from indoors. A popular feature from their first appearance at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show three years ago, the vignettes are again located in the entrance lobby on the fourth floor. Enjoy these small garden experiences created by educational groups, garden clubs, master gardeners, and more!

    Floral Arrangements
Upon entering the show lobby, you are met with romantic and lush floral expressions designed by more than 20 professional florists in the Puget Sound area.

    Bonsai Exhibit
Near the garden area on the fourth floor, Puget Sound Bonsai Association once again displays the creative beauty of this ancient art. Through pruning skill and an artful eye, trees are kept as perfect miniatures, giving the illusion of wild growth.

    Ikebana
Next to the Bonsai exhibit, Ikebana International Seattle Chapter creates graceful statements with their floral designs. This educational display of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, inspires and teaches about the elegant combination of containers and flowers.
