BY CAR:

The Convention Center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Seattle, just off Interstate 5 at the intersection of 8th Ave and Pike St. Please note: daytime parking downtown, particularly on weekdays, is limited. The Metro Show Shuttle from Northgate is a recommended alternative. Limited parking is available in the Convention Center and Freeway Park garages. In addition there are many parking garages and lots in the downtown area.

From I-5 Northbound
1. Seneca Street Exit (Exit 165)
2. Right on 6th Avenue
3. Right on Pike Street

From I-5 Southbound
1. Union St. Exit (Exit 165B)
2. Right on 7th Avenue
3. Right on Pike Street

From I-90 Westbound
1. I-5 Northbound
2. Madison Street Exit
3. Right on Seneca Street
4. Left on 8th Avenue

METRO SHOW SHUTTLE:

Our dedicated Metro Show Shuttle it the easiest, cheapest - and sanest - way to go. Buses are located in the large parking lot immediately south of Northgate Shopping Center, only a few minutes north of downtown. (That's exit #173 from I-5, on the east side of the freeway.) The first shuttle leaves Northgate for the Convention Center at 8:15 a.m. daily, followed by departures about every 20 minutes. The last bus leaves from the Convention Center at 10 p.m. daily, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Parking is free, and round-trip shuttle tickets are a mere $2 per person. Children 11 and under ride free with an adult.

New this year, Eastside Excursions is offering private transportation from the Eastside to the show on Wednesday and Friday. Pick-ups will be at specified locations on the Eastside, and the round-trip fare of $10 will include parking. Space is limited. For more information contact Eastside Excursions at (425) 557-5534.

Be kind to yourself and the environment. Here are some suggested Metro routes from outlying areas that will take you to downtown Seattle near the Convention Center.

Park FREE in the large lot just south of the Northgate mall and take the convenient Metro Show Shuttle directly to the Convention Center. Only $2 round trip.

Ride Amtrak

Amtrak is offering 10% off the lowest available fare to Seattle from January 30 to February 9. To book space call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Make sure you refer to fares order number x-84L-954 when making your booking. This offer is not valid on Auto Train, Club or Custom Class service. Fare is valid on Metroliner Service during off-peak weekday travel and all departures on weekends. (The Seattle Amtrak terminal is the King Street Station just south of downtown.)

Victoria Clipper

Grayline Airport Express

The Grayline Airport Express is the easiest way to get downtown from Sea-Tac Airport. One-way price is $7.50. Purchase tickets at the Grayline Airport Express counters at either end of the Baggage Claim area. The buses run every 20 minutes and drop off at selected downtown Seattle hotels.
